Winter Care

DO NOT WALK on your frozen grass!!

When grass blades are frozen, they’re brittle. Every step you take crushes the cells inside each blade and causes permanent damage.

March you will begin to see brown footprints, tire tracks, and pet paths from walking on frozen grass.

The fix is simple: wait for the frost to melt before you walk on the lawn. Let the sun do its thing in the morning, then cross the grass later in the day.

If you absolutely must cross early, stick to the same path every time to minimize the damage zone.
