TREE CARE – DEEP ROOT TREE FERTILIZATION
DO YOUR TREES NEED HELP?
LET US KEEP YOU TREES STRONG AND HEALTHY
Deep root fertilization might just be the best way to fertilize trees. Trees require nourishment to live and thrive. If the soil lacks in important nutrients, your specimen will be more susceptible to disease and insect problems and will have a shorter life than a similar, well-fertilized trees.
Like all living things, plants require nutrients to grow strong and healthy. Deep root tree fertilization is like giving your plants a vitamin exactly where they need it the most. The materials are injected into the root zone under pressure which helps aerate or provide much needed oxygen to the root system as well. Soil injection sites are placed about 2 or 3 feet apart in a grid pattern throughout the canopy area and beyond the drip line.
WHEN SHOULD WE TREAT?
We generally recommend deep root fertilization twice a year in the spring or fall but its never too late to get started. Both times have their benefits. During spring, plants are gearing up for a season’s worth of growth, and fertilization provides a nice boost of nutrients. During the fall, trees take in the extra nutrients for their winter dormant period.
